Word Play. I started incorporating words in my scan art around 2000, just playing around, looking for funny or interesting effects. Only recently have I begun to appreciate the significant influence of the Wittgensteinian "linguistic turn" in philosophy on modern art.

Joseph Kosuth took it to the next level by 1960, and his influence continues in contemporary work.
